In 2020, Stedman introduces styles made from recycled plastic bottles, new gender-neutral promotional T-shirts, an extended size range for classic bestsellers, tear-away labels and much more

Every year more than 8 million metric tons of plastic waste end up in our oceans killing millions of animals, while every minute 1 million plastic bottles are bought worldwide.
It’s time to make a change. As one of the first in our market, we decided to take a step towards more eco-friendly sportswear production. All our new 2020 styles containing polyester are made of recycled plastic bottles. Our recycled polyester offers the same high-quality characteristics as “normal” polyester but with a smaller environmental footprint, keeping plastics from going to landfills and oceans. It requires far fewer resources than that of new fibres and generates significantly less CO2 emissions.

Our new lightweight Recycled Sports-T Move for men and women is named after its intention: Move! Fashionable heathered colours and a casual fit offer great freedom of movement and a modern, sporty look. Ladies will enjoy the especially flattering shape with overcut sleeves and a rounded hem for a sporty feminine silhouette.

Eco-friendly and super soft! Our new Recycled Sports-T Reflect for men and women features not only an athletic design with contrast seams and heathered colours but also reflecting tapes on front and back, ensuring optimum visibility during your evening runs in low light conditions.

The new Recycled Sports-T Race for men and women - of course also made of recycled material - convinces with its modern colours and stylish contrast elements. The airy mesh material is light and quick-drying. You might even run faster with these super modern heathered race stripes.

Let’s keep it sporty! Our casual, athletic Recycled Scuba Jackets for men and women are made from 8 plastic bottles and offer an ultra-modern look for various occasions – for outdoor sports in colder temperatures or as a stylish part of your urban athleisure outfit.

Ladies, you are welcome! The brand-new Stedman® sports bra is here with a perfect fit and great performance for any workout session. And even better news: It comes with matching 3/4 tights with sporty contrast seams and a comfortable wide rib waistband for an optimum fit!

Another family in the Stedman® collection is complete: Our Sports-T, the athletic bestseller for men and women is now also available for children in six cool, sporty colours.

We are also expanding our fleece range by two cutting-edge, sustainable styles: our brand-new Recycled Fleece Jacket Hero for men and women, made from 16 recycled plastic bottles! These light-weight hooded jackets feature fashionable contrast elements, side pockets with zippers and a soft brushed inside.

Another newcomer for 2020 is our modern Tank Top for men in the three classic colours. A soon-to-be favourite in the Stedman® sleeveless range, with a great figure-hugging shape, made of soft ring-spun cotton.

Clothing that caters to everyone: With fashion trends like “boyfriend style” and oversized casual cuts, the demand for fashion not focused on gender is higher than ever. We are excited about our expanding gender-neutral fashion range in 2020.

Our brand-new Recycled Unisex Hoodie and the Recycled Unisex Sweatpants are also made of recycled plastic bottles (6 per style) and offer a great fit for both men and women. The smaller sizes have been specially designed for ladies to make everyone look just fabulous in these new eco-friendly models.

Speaking of gender-neutral: Our favourite bestseller, the ST2000 Classic-T is not only a men’s T-shirt anymore! With our new sizes 2XS and XS we designed a special shape that looks great on ladies as well as on men. And for the big guys, it’s now available up to 5XL! Since we love the idea of creating gender-fluid fashion, we transformed our bestselling sweatshirt, the ST4000 into a Unisex Sweatshirt by adding the size XS – again, especially designed for the ladies.
